Contact Email: [email protected] DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position oversees the delivery of psychological services and guides staff in providing quality mental health care within the facility. As a Psychological Services Supervisor, DOC, you will perform the following duties:
- Service Oversight: Direct and monitor the delivery of psychological services to ensure consistent, high-quality care across the institution
- Staff Guidance: Offer clear direction and constructive feedback to Psychological Services Specialists, addressing clinical or performance needs with professionalism
- Evaluation Management: Coordinate, track, and assign required psychological evaluations and assessments in collaboration with facility leadership
- Program Coordination: Maintain records of treatment groups and ensure staff provide mental health services that match patient needs
- Administrative Duties: Manage leave approvals, conduct performance evaluations, and take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:- One year as a Psychological Services Specialist, DOC (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of professional experience in the field of psychology and a master's degree in psychology or a closely related field that includes fifteen graduate level credits in psychology or counseling.
Other Requirements:- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
