Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment to individuals who are experiencing mental health issues. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions
  • Developing individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnoses
  • Prescribing medications and other treatments as necessary to manage symptoms and improve patient outcomes
  • Monitoring and recording patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Providing psychotherapy and counseling to patients as needed
  • Educating patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies
  • Advocating for patients to ensure their needs are met and their rights are protected
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Completion of a psychiatry residency program
  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Active medical license
  • Experience providing psychiatric care to patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
