What You'll Do
  • Conduct initial and comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status exams and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop, review, and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans in partnership with the treatment team.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in alignment with best practices and guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing care through daily rounds, patient education, and consultation.
  • Monitor labs, assessments, and treatment response while adjusting care as needed.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and respond effectively to urgent or emergency situations.
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

What We're Looking For

Education & Training
  • Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)

Experience
  • Prior psychiatric care experience (required)
  • 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Licensure/Certifications
  • Current NP license in the state of Massachusetts (required)
  • DEA registration (required)
