Qualifications

• Board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialty.
• Valid Indiana state nursing license and current DEA licensure with prescriptive authority post-hire.
• 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in a Community Health Center.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Spanish speaking skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and assessments appropriate for patient's age.
• Diagnose illnesses and establish management plans in consultation with supervising physicians.
• Provide counseling and education on preventive care and medications.
• Attend and participate in clinic staff meetings.
• Assist and conduct clinic-related projects with Site Medical Director's approval.
• Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards.
