Qualifications

• Active Illinois PMHNP license; multi-state or compact licensure preferred
• PMHNP-BC board certification
• Active DEA license
• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program
• Experience or strong interest in working with youth and families
• Ability to work independently in a telehealth setting
• Strong clinical judgment and clear communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to formulate evidence-based diagnoses
• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and families
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and adjust based on effectiveness
• Provide brief interventions and psychoeducation alongside medication management
• Collaborate with a team of therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators during case reviews
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Educate families about diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations
