Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse essential.
• Active Florida nursing license mandatory.
• DEA registration must be current or in process; eligibility for Dispensing Certification required.
• Suboxone Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in monthly MSO meetings.
• Ensure compliance with professional licensing and credentialing standards.
• Document and report on psychiatric services within set timeframes.
• Provide outpatient therapy, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations.
• Make independent medical decisions and engage in collaborative consultations when needed.
• Deliver services at the County Jail and manage electronic health records documentation.
• Conduct inpatient evaluations and follow-up care.
• Oversee and mentor interns in a preceptorship role.
