Full Job Description

Part of a service organization, reporting to the Operations Manager, the main responsibilities of this position is to manage various day-to-day operations related to the integration and operation of Motorola’s radio communication system. Following processes based on ITIL, the candidate will manage equipment, incidents and lead and assist in various meetings, take actions and follow-ups within the organisation, build dashboards and tracking tools for customer and management, follow-up with sub-contractor, third party suppliers and the customer.

Some of the main skills required are: 

  • Maintain a high quality level of communication between the customer , process owner and the rest of the organization

  • Evaluate situations and propose solutions.

  • Be involved in process optimizations.

  • Ensure the performance, accuracy, quality, integrity and security of our operations.

  • Be able to work with all levels of customer’s organization from the basic user to the division manager.

  • Provide competent support and communicate efficiently with our customers, subcontractors and teammates.

  • Capacity to quickly assess various situations and respond in a timely manner using expertise in logic and diagnosis on the various systems supported. 

 

Key Responsibilities/Behaviours of the candidate will include:

  • Manage various aspects of daily operations: Request coordination, scheduling, follow-up, meetings, etc.

  • Provide assistance to the call center and subcontractors.

  • Work with a high level of autonomy and rely on their own judgment to achieve desired results while receiving little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on 

  • Experience in project coordination

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the radiocommunication field and/or IT is mandatory.

  • Bilingual in French and English is a must, both written and oral.

  • Strong expertise in logic, diagnostic and communication with the ability to explain complex problems, situations and issues to a wide span of auditors.

  • Familiar with the equipment used to support communication systems (radio systems).

  • Experience with the usual office tools mainly MS Word & Excel as well as Google Productivity Suite (G Suite).

Faisant partie d’une organisation de services relevant responsable des opérations,  les principales responsabilités de ce poste consistent à gérer diverses opérations quotidiennes liées aux incidents et à l’exploitation du système de communication radio de Motorola. En suivant les processus basés sur ITIL, le candidat gérera les incidents, dirigera et assistera à diverses réunions, entreprendra des actions et des suivis au sein de l’organisation, construira et maintiendra des tableaux de bord et des outils de suivi pour la clientèle et les sous-traitants, les fournisseurs tiers et le client.

  • Maintenir un niveau élevé de communication de qualité entre le client et le reste de l'organisation

  • Évaluer les situations et proposer des solutions

  • Être impliqué dans le maintien et  l'optimisation des processus

  • Assurer la performance, la précision, la qualité, l'intégrité et la sécurité de nos opérations

  • Être capable de travailler avec tous les niveaux d’organisation du client, de l’utilisateur de base au responsable de la division

  • Fournir un support compétent et communiquer efficacement avec nos clients, sous-traitants et coéquipiers

  • Capacité à évaluer rapidement diverses situations et à réagir rapidement en utilisant une expertise en logique et en diagnostic sur les différents systèmes pris en charge.

 

Les responsabilités / comportements clés du candidat comprendront:

  • Gérer divers aspects des opérations quotidiennes: incidents, coordination de projet, planification, suivi, réunions, etc.

  • Fournir une assistance au centre d’appel et aux sous-traitants.

  • Travailler avec un haut niveau d'autonomie et s'appuyer sur leur propre jugement pour atteindre les résultats souhaités tout en recevant peu d'instructions sur le travail quotidien et d'instructions générales sur les nouvelles tâches.

  • Capacité à respecter les niveaux de service et les calendriers de projet.

  • Expérience en coordination de projet.

  • Un minimum de 2 années d'expérience dans le domaine des radiocommunications et/ou de l'informatique est obligatoire.

  • Bilingue en français et en anglais est indispensable, à l'écrit comme à l'oral.

  • Forte expertise en logique, diagnostic et communication avec la capacité d'expliquer des problèmes complexes, des situations et des problèmes à un large éventail d'auditeurs.

  • Familier avec les équipements utilisés pour supporter les systèmes de communication (systèmes radio).

  • Expérience avec les outils bureautiques habituels, principalement MS Word et Excel, ainsi que Google Productivity Suite (G Suite) et Gemini.


Basic Requirements
  • The position is based in the province of Québec City and requires minimal travel.  

  • The candidate must pass a security clearance conducted by the Sûreté du Québec
