Role Scope- Engineer protection and controls for campus power: relaying schemes from generation through distribution.
- Own the settings: coordination studies and relay files developed, verified, and configuration-managed.
- Design the P&C architecture: relays, communications, and SCADA integration per the reference design.
- Support commissioning: settings loaded, functions tested, and misoperations root-caused.

- You've done protection engineering: relay settings and coordination for MV and HV systems.
- You've developed settings for SEL or equivalent platforms hands-on.
- You've commissioned protection schemes in the field.
- You've investigated relay operations and found the truth in the event records.
- Your settings files are managed like the safety-critical code they are.
- Bonus: Generator protection. IEC 61850 and communications-assisted schemes. NERC PRC exposure. Arc-flash mitigation schemes.
