Full Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement propulsion control strategies and algorithms for conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicle systems.
  2. Design and model control systems using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for automotive propulsion applications.
  3. Analyze vehicle and test data to evaluate control system performance and recommend engineering improvements.
  4. Develop system requirements and functional specifications for software implementation and production engineering teams.
  5. Support the complete product development lifecycle, including concept development, simulation, validation, calibration, and production handoff.
  6. Perform testing and validation through vehicle testing, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), dynamometer testing, prototype evaluation, and verification activities.
  7. Troubleshoot propulsion control system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and validate corrective actions using data-driven methodologies.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers, Product Development, Calibration, Validation, and Software Engineering teams.
  9. Benchmark competitor technologies and conduct feasibility studies to support the development of advanced propulsion control features.
  10. Provide technical leadership by driving control strategy development, solving complex engineering problems, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
