Proposal Engineer - CSPUpgrades to join our
Crushing Service Products Business Line team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering proposals for crusher upgrade projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, competitive bids that support business growth and customer success.
You will report to the
Pricing & Proposals Director. This role is based in
Brookfield, WI, with hybrid working options available.
This role includes approximately
10% travel.
Team you will belong toYou will join a team of
5 proposal and engineering professionals focused on delivering high-quality technical proposals for crusher upgrades and related solutions. Our team plays a key role in supporting revenue growth and margin targets by ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive proposals, with a shared focus on delivering customer value and technical excellence. We collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including Market Areas, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Sourcing, and Finance.
Our team is based in Finland, Germany, and other global locations, and our ways of working emphasize collaboration, accountability, and operating in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do• Manage proposal workload and timelines to ensure on-time delivery aligned with financial targets for bookings and margin
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive proposal progress and alignment
• Prepare accurate, high-quality proposals and supporting documentation in line with company standards
• Review customer RFQs and distribute specifications to relevant teams for input
• Support bid/no-bid decisions and contribute to proposal strategy development
• Define scope, value proposition, and execution plans with internal stakeholders
• Partner with sourcing and procurement to develop cost estimates and assess risks/opportunities
• Review contractual terms in coordination with legal to ensure compliance with company policies
What you'll bring• 5+ years of experience in proposals, project management, engineering, or sales of mining or mechanical equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining, Mineral Processing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working in cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, and project environments
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Salesforce and SAP (nice to have)
• Knowledge of crushing equipment and related products (nice to have)
