  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electromechanical engineering, preferably within the power transmission, distribution, or substation industry.
  • Strong experience developing single-line diagrams, substation layouts, base designs, and detailed engineering packages for various bus configurations.
  • In-depth knowledge of substation engineering calculations, including grounding systems, short-circuit force calculations, cable ampacity, cable and conduit schedules, Auxiliary AC/DC systems, and related engineering software tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NEC, ANSI, IEEE, and other applicable industry standards related to high-voltage AIS and GIS substations.
  • Experience supporting EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project execution.
  • Proficiency with BIM tools, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Revit for 3D modeling and design collaboration.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure.
  • Strong communication, project coordination, and technical leadership skills.
