Job Purpose: To plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Roles, Duties, & Responsibilities:- Reviews and understands project plans, specifications, contracts, and special provisions.
- Reviews project estimates and performs quantity take-offs to identify discrepancies or conflicts.
- Develops and maintains project schedules with the Project Manager.
- Coordinates labor, equipment, crews, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
- Tracks material and subcontractor lead times and ensures required submittals, shop drawings, mix designs, and approvals are completed timely.
- Identifies and documents changed conditions, conflicts, and potential change orders; provides supporting documentation to the Project Manager.
- Coordinates utility locates, resolves utility conflicts, and maintains Blue Stake documentation.
- Arranges yard locations, dump sites, permits, and required access agreements.
- Reviews project costs and communicates errors or problem areas to the Project Manager.
- Maintains proper traffic control, site safety, housekeeping, and drainage.
- Coordinates surveying, testing, inspections, and required project meetings.
- Maintains accurate daily logs, as-built plans, quantity reports, timesheets, and field documentation.
- Reports equipment issues and ensures field tickets are properly coded and submitted.
- Prepares monthly pay estimates and assists with final measurements, quantities, and project closeout.
- Maintains quality control through supervision of Foremen, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
- Manages workforce hiring, termination, layoffs, and personnel procedures.
- Conducts weekly safety meetings and enforces company safety policies and procedures.
- Promotes employee training, education, and professional development.
- Assists with employee and final project performance reviews.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and project requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Work Experience Guidelines:- B.A. or B.S. Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering; AND,
- Minimum ten (10) years' Water/Waste Water construction experience; OR,
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by the hiring manager.
