Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules
  • Lead subcontractor coordination and communicate short-term schedules
  • Drive field execution, monitor progress, and proactively resolve issues
  • Complete daily reports on manpower, activities, deliveries, and conditions
  • Enforce jobsite safety and compliance regulations
  • Manage RFIs, inspections, and regulatory coordination
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and deliveries to meet project schedules
  • Oversee quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
  • Supervise field staff and subcontractors for optimal performance
  • Maintain thorough project documentation and site records
  • Build relationships with clients, design teams, and vendors
  • Manage project punch lists and drive project closeout process
  • Coordinate with utilities and third-party vendors.

Position Summary: Are you looking for a career in the Commercial Construction field? Timberline Construction Corp is looking for Superintendents all over MA, NH, and RI. In this very sophisticated marketplace, Timberline is the expert of choice for science and technology, corporate, commercial, academic and institutional projects, including the complex challenges of renovation in occupied spaces.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules
  • Lead subcontractor coordination and communicate short-term schedules
  • Drive field execution, monitor progress, and resolve issues proactively
  • Complete daily reports (manpower, activities, deliveries, conditions)
  • Enforce jobsite safety and maintain compliance and cleanliness
  • Manage RFIs, inspections, and regulatory coordination
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and deliveries to maintain schedule
  • Oversee quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
  • Supervise field staff and subcontractors to ensure performance
  • Maintain project documentation and site records
  • Build strong relationships with clients, design team, and vendors
  • Manage punch list and drive project closeout
  • Coordinate utilities and third-party vendors


Minimum/Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction management experience


Knowledge/Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Decisive leader who performs well under pressure and unexpected conditions

  • Willingness to travel and be on-call as needed for site demands and emergencies
  • 5+ years of construction management experience
  • OSHA 10-hour required (30-hour preferred) and Construction Supervisor's License
