Description

The Customer Site Specialist for the Jenbacher Engine business will have the following responsibilities :

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Participation in the creation of the schedule and tracking of deadlines, including highlighting time-critical processes, developing acceleration measures, in close coordination with project management, the scheduler, subcontractors, and internal departments, to ensure timely and smooth execution of construction activities
  • Resource planning for the timely and deadline-oriented implementation of the execution phase
  • Assembly management and supervision, including regular execution progress checks and reporting to the project manager
  • Site documentation and correspondence (documentation accompanying execution, such as delivery notes, measurement protocols, assembly protocols, approvals, etc.)
  • Material management on the execution site as well as in the interim or customer storage areas
  • Monitoring and enforcement of construction site safety in close coordination with the client's safety and health coordinator (EHS)
  • Provision of site equipment (forklifts, work platforms, scaffolding, tools, consumables such as oil, urea, coolant, etc.)
  • Verification of readiness for installation, inspection of access routes, checking of storage areas, examination and approval of foundations, measurement of installation positions
  • Supervision and monitoring of engine and BOP Parts positioning. Fine positioning and alignment of BOP parts with each other, including final assembly of internal piping and wiring.
  • Monitoring of the professional and timely implementation, as well as contract-compliant execution, of the scope of services and supplies by subcontractors
  • Supervision and monitoring of the establishment of commissioning readiness of plant components and systems, including, for example, ensuring the proper cleaning of plant components, leak testing, pressure testing
  • Coordinate of commissioning (customer meetings, etc.) in close collaboration with the commissioning team


Qualification Requirements:
  • Mechanical or electrical education
  • Commercial and business management understanding required
  • Experience in site management for power plant execution, including material management
  • Experience with products from INNIO and plant components
  • Performance-oriented personality
  • Proficiency in problem-solving
  • Good communication skills with people on construction site as well as executive level
  • Excellent English skills (writing and speaking); additional language skills are an advantage
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Team player with strong ability to motivate
  • Self-starter mentality and able to work independently
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 90%
