Join our team and be part of an exciting execution-phase project in the North American mining industry. You'll play a key role in critical project phases, from Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering to Construction, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of commodities. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Services Manager to oversee the delivery and management of camp services within a remote mining project. This FIFO-based role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality accommodation, catering, cleaning, transport, and facility management services that support operational continuity and workforce wellbeing.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership capability, extensive camp facility management experience, and a solid understanding of remote site operations within the mining and minerals sector.

About the role
  • Manage all site services and camp operations for a remote FIFO workforce.
  • Oversee accommodation, housekeeping, catering, laundry, waste management, potable water, sewage treatment, and recreational facilities.
  • Lead and supervise site services personnel and subcontractors to ensure operational excellence and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) across all village and facility operations.
  • Monitor camp occupancy, room allocations, logistics, and workforce movements.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, inventory, and cost control for site services operations.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance programs are implemented for camp infrastructure and facilities.
  • Coordinate emergency response readiness and support site-wide emergency management procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with operational teams, contractors, and client representatives.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and reporting to ensure compliance with company policies, mining regulations, and client expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and workforce satisfaction.

About you
  • Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management, or related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in a Site Services Manager, Camp Manager or similar role within the mining, resources, oil & gas, or remote operations sector.
  • Strong background in remote camp and facility management for large FIFO/DIDO workforces.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
  • Sound knowledge of HSEQ systems, mining compliance requirements, and remote site operations.
  • Experience managing budgets, service contracts, and operational reporting.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and remote environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and site management systems.
