  • Contractor Management: Partnering with prime contractors to ensure safety programs are effectively implemented and deliverables are provided in a timely manner.
  • Safety Metrics: Track and report incident rates, near misses, and leading safety indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Electrical Commissioning Safety: Lead safety oversight during the transition to live power environments, including UPS, switchgear, and generators.
  • Audit & Leadership: Audit prime contractor safety programs and lead weekly safety leadership meetings.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Establish and maintain emergency response plans, evacuation routes, and medical response procedures.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5+ years in heavy industrial construction safety (e.g., oil and gas, power generation, or large-scale manufacturing).
  • Certifications: Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or OSHA 510; First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep working knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and NFPA 70E, including arc flash boundaries and PPE selection.
  • Operational Ability: Proven ability to influence site leadership and manage safety performance under aggressive project timelines.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work full-time on active construction sites, including walking long distances, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.

Bonus Points:
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, GSP, or CHST.
  • Prior experience specifically supporting data center construction or commissioning.
  • Proficiency with construction management platforms such as Procore or SafetyCulture/iAuditor

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement
  • Mental health & wellness support
  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
  • Cell phone stipend
  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
  • Volunteer time off
