About This Position

The Portfolio Analyst, Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), supports the EPMO Manager of Portfolio Management and EPMO leadership in administering, monitoring, reporting, and continuously improving the enterprise portfolio. This role is intentionally data-centered and is accountable for strengthening portfolio data integrity, maintaining reliable reporting routines, and developing dashboard visualizations that enable senior leaders and governance forums to understand portfolio health, risks, priorities, financials, resource constraints, and strategic alignment.

The ideal candidate brings advanced experience working with complex project, financial, resource, intake, and portfolio data across Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms. The role requires strong analytical judgment, disciplined attention to data quality, and the ability to translate validated data into clear insights, executive-ready dashboards, portfolio reports, and decision-support materials.

This position plays a critical role in helping the EPMO deliver accurate, timely, and executive-ready portfolio intelligence for senior leaders, governance forums, and the Executive Cabinet. By improving portfolio data quality and reporting reliability, the role supports enterprise prioritization, investment decisions, capacity planning, benefits tracking, and visibility into work aligned to ChristianaCare's strategic aspirations.

PLEASE NOTE: Although this is a hybrid role, there is still a weekly need to be on site 1-2 days per week. Please only apply if you live within reasonable commuting distance to the site location.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a portfolio reporting and data integrity specialist for the EPMO, supporting enterprise portfolio visibility, governance decision-making, and leadership reporting.

  • Provide SPM/PPM support to EPMO customers and stakeholders, including intake data review, request monitoring, project record maintenance, reporting assistance, and issue resolution.

  • Assess and assist in collecting complete, accurate, and timely information required for EPMO Requests, Projects, Roadmaps, Service Lines, Strategic Aspirations, and related portfolio records.

  • Ensure consistent intake visibility for new requests and support mapping of requests and active work to ChristianaCare strategic aspirations, enterprise priorities, roadmaps, and governance needs.

  • Collaborate with EPMO team members, Project Managers, leaders, and stakeholders to collect, reconcile, validate, analyze, and interpret portfolio data from SPM/PPM tools and related sources.

  • Analyze incoming requests, related priorities, business case information, portfolio capacity, financial impacts, and business justification to support informed recommendations and decision-making.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance portfolio reporting across service lines, roadmaps, strategic aspirations, intake requests, project status, financials, benefits, capacity, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and outcomes.

  • Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, visual scorecards, graphs, infographics, flow charts, executive summaries, and other reporting views that clearly communicate portfolio performance and decision points.

  • Create, maintain, and apply data definitions, reporting standards, metric logic, dashboard refresh routines, and quality-control checks to improve consistency and trust in portfolio reporting.

  • Structure, reconcile, and maintain large data sets from SPM/PPM tools, spreadsheets, and related enterprise sources to identify trends, validate accuracy, support data remediation, and prepare trend analysis.

  • Monitor portfolio data quality and proactively identify, document, escalate, and help remediate incomplete records, inconsistent field usage, missing required data, duplicate entries, outdated information, and reporting discrepancies.

  • Prepare, validate, and distribute recurring and ad hoc portfolio reports, including weekly actual/forecast reporting, release-based reporting, governance reporting, portfolio dashboards, and executive-level decision-support packages.

  • Partner with EPMO leadership to define reporting requirements, dashboard views, data dictionaries, standard operating procedures, data ownership expectations, and governance routines that improve reporting reliability.

  • Translate operational, financial, resource, strategic, and project performance data into actionable insights, recommendations, and concise narratives for senior leaders and governance forums.

  • Support PPM/SPM tool sustainment by assisting with configuration needs, data field usage, reporting views, user guidance, data stewardship routines, and tool adoption activities as directed.

  • Support governance forums, and Executive Cabinet decision-making by preparing validated portfolio intelligence, decision-support materials, concise narratives, and executive-ready reporting packages.

  • Help sustain and continuously improve strategic portfolio management processes and technology adoption by reinforcing consistent data entry, tool usage, reporting standards, and portfolio operating procedures.

  • Assist with portfolio process improvement, reporting automation, workflow refinement, and re-engineering efforts that increase efficiency, improve data quality, and strengthen enterprise portfolio transparency.

  • Provide operational support such as stakeholder follow-up, timeline tracking, meeting preparation, report distribution, and coordination of portfolio-related information requests.

  • Work with EPMO leadership to establish, monitor, and improve resource management processes, capacity reporting, and related data integrity routines.

  • Strengthen visibility into portfolio capacity, resource constraints, financials, benefits, risks, issues, dependencies, and outcomes to support enterprise prioritization and optimization of strategic work.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with EPMO team members, business partners, senior leaders, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
