Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Project Managers I-Technology: Core Banking in Jacksonville, FL to leverage specialized knowledge of Fidelity Information Services (FIS) technologies to plan and coordinate all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery. Manage project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed. Utilize advanced knowledge of proprietary tools to ensure requirements for internal technology projects align to operational standards. Develop alternate requirements or document exceptions as appropriate. Apply expertise with Fidelity Information Services (FIS) technology to develop, define and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Interact with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and other cross-functional teams. Leverage unique knowledge of proprietary methodologies to identify needed resources for projects, define and assign major project roles. Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope. Utilize specialized understanding of proprietary technologies to assign and monitor work of project team providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interface with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. Manage project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, like deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assist with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed. Apply unique expertise of FIS tools to manage the integration of vendor/subcontractor tasks and track and review vendor/subcontractor deliverables, if appropriate for the project.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation:  working in the banking or financial services industry, with an understanding of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and transaction processing systems; implementing and supporting core banking applications, payment processing systems, and customer relationship management platforms; working with Systematics Integrated Monetary Processing and Control System (IMPACS) for monetary transaction processing; managing customer data and relationships with Systematics Relationship Management (RM); utilizing Systematics Savings/Time Deposit (ST) for deposit account management and interest calculations; and utilizing programming skills in Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL) and Common Business Oriented Language 6 (COBOL 6), including writing, debugging, and maintaining complex Common Business Oriented Language programs for high-volume transaction systems.
