A leading NFP is looking for a Project Manager with strong facilities knowledge and people management experience in Brooklyn NY

Job Description:

Job Function:
  • Oversee the operation and performance of all major building systems.
  • Ensure the property remains safe, compliant, and operational at all times.
  • Direct preventive maintenance initiatives and long-term asset preservation strategies.
  • Coordinate vendor services, inspections, and contracted work.
  • Maintain compliance with FDNY, DOB, DOH, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Manage required inspections, testing schedules, and building certifications.
  • Lead preparation for agency, funder, and regulatory inspections.
  • Monitor and resolve violations, deficiencies, and compliance-related issues.
  • Coordinate response efforts involving critical building systems and infrastructure.
  • Ensure appropriate emergency preparedness procedures are maintained and followed.
  • Assist with maintenance budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost control.
  • Support capital planning and equipment replacement initiatives.
