Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, engineered-to-order projects in the deepwater oil and gas industry. As a key member of our PMO, you'll drive end-to-end project execution across cross-functional teams, ensuring delivery excellence through best-in-class program management practices. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-value portfolios while mentoring team members and serving as a strategic client advocate from tender through commissioning.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage complete project lifecycle including Tender, Concept, Design, Implementation, Manufacturing, Testing, Shipping & Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning for large-scale deepwater projects
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and control portfolio implementation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining scope integrity and compliance with industry standards
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as primary project representative with clients, contractors, and vendors; present project status to senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Financial Oversight: Track project financial performance, maintain cost control and analysis, and support decision-making to optimize budget utilization
  • Risk Mitigation: Implement strategic techniques to identify and mitigate potential project risks while promoting maximum productivity
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure QMS compliance in accordance with API requirements and independent third-party witness protocols
  • Team Development: Mentor PMO team members on project management knowledge areas and best practices
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement continual improvement goals for effective delivery


Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience in engineered-to-order projects within the deepwater oil and gas industry
  • 10+ years of experience working in PMOs and with project staff
  • Project management experience in the manufacturing industry
  • High level of expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office products, and MS Project
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and ERP systems
  • Excellent knowledge of subsea equipment engineering, installation, and operating procedures
  • Knowledge of energy industry standards including API, ABS, DNV, ISO, and NORSOK
  • Deep aptitude in financial and cost areas related to project cost controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment with minimal supervision
  • 15+ years of Project Management experience in engineered-to-order projects in the deepwater oil and gas industry
  • 15+ years of experience working in PMOs and project staff
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or AACE certification
