  • Serve as the primary client-facing leader for municipalities and stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to underground conditions and utility conflicts

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This is a high-impact role overseeing essential municipal projects, including wastewater treatment plans, lift stations, pipelines, and underground utilities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from pre-construction through closeout for wastewater and utility projects
  • Manage construction of:

    • Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs)
    • Lift/pump stations
    • Force mains & gravity sewer systems
    • Water lines & storm drainage infrastructure
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractors, and equipment for complex civil projects
  • Ensure compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations (including TCEQ)
  • Serve as the primary client-facing leader for municipalities, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Partner with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safe, high-quality installation
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to:
    • Underground conditions
    • Utility conflicts
    • Environmental and permitting challenges
  • Manage contracts, change orders, and cost controls to protect project margins
  • Lead project meetings, site visits, and performance reporting
  • Drive successful project closeout (punch lists, as-builts, turnover documentation)


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction
  • Strong background in water/wastewater and underground utility projects
  • Proven experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects (WWTPs, pipelines, pump stations)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Excavation, trenching, shoring
    • Pipeline installation & utility coordination
  • Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment systems (highly preferred)
  • Experience with project financials, scheduling, and subcontractor management
  • Proficiency in tools like Primavera, Procore, or similar PM software
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
  • OSHA certification (preferred)
