Position Summary:The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely, within-scope, and profitable project completion. Reporting to the Operations Manager and collaborating with the Operations Team, the PM facilitates job turnovers, reviews submittals, attends pre-construction meetings, and coordinates site access and resources. The PM ensures adherence to company policies, quality control, and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:Communication:- Maintain frequent and direct communication with the Operations Team.
- Provide timely updates on all project and staff-related issues to the Operations Manager.
Project Start-Up:- Facilitate the turnover process from estimating to the project team, ensuring a thorough understanding of scope and budget.
- Review and approve work plans & pre-construction submittals.
- Submit DOH Notifications as necessary.
- Attend pre-construction meetings.
- Arrange site access, keys, parking and other logistics as needed.
- Conduct/attend on-site meetings to review project details, ensuring the team is equipped with necessary plans, specifications, and approved submittals.
- Prepare and review job start-up sheets (Materials & Equipment).
- Coordinate special requirements, including but not limited to passes, travel, waste disposal, testing, subcontractors, and air monitoring consultants.
Field Operations:- Personally inspect each active assigned project on a weekly basis at a minimum.
- Verify containment integrity, equipment readiness and adherence to removal procedures.
- Assess productivity and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Communicate with the Safety Director for site inspections & on-site safety requests.
- Resolve jobsite issues to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Analyze resource usage (crew size, methods, equipment, etc.) for optimal efficiency.
- Review & approve Daily Reports/Timesheets and submit to the Project Coordinator daily.
- Ensure profitable project completion within estimated costs.
- Maintain or improve upon scheduled completion dates while adhering to or coming in below budget.
- Accurately project costs and profits for each project.
- Report on job progress to the Operations Manager.
- Identify and follow-up on potential change order opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Unitek Team to oversee quality control, safety, productivity, and operational issues.
Administrative:- Collaborate with the Contract Administrator to ensure accurate and timely percentage progress billing.
- Review and verify all close-out items/documents for projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide assistance to the Project Coordinator by obtaining missing items for your assigned projects.

- Flexibility in work hours as required by operational needs.
- Work location: On-site presence required.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing the construction industry.
- Possess valid Supervisor Certificate for Asbestos & Lead Abatement.
- Pass company drug & physical policy.
- Demonstrated reliability, including regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with an ability to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor and conduct oneself with integrity.
Education, Training, and Experience: - High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Previous work experience in construction or related field preferred
- 2+ years of Project Management experience a plus
