Top Secret- Project Manager

Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all activities required to successfully execute tasks and associated contract requirements in support of Department of Defense (DoD) and federal government customers. The successful candidate will oversee project execution, ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements, manage resources and schedules, and serve as the primary liaison between Government stakeholders and contractor personnel. This position requires strong leadership, communication, contract management, and project management expertise within complex federal environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage activities and associated contract requirements in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Provide day-to-day project oversight, planning, execution, and reporting to ensure successful contract performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Government representatives regarding project status, deliverables, risks, and performance issues.
  • Coordinate project resources, personnel, schedules, and deliverables to meet contract objectives.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, status reports, and executive-level briefings.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with contractual, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Government and contractor stakeholders to resolve operational, administrative, and technical issues.
  • Provide written and oral briefings to senior Government leadership regarding project progress, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure all work performed meets quality standards, mission requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication across project teams.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing federal government contracts.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Department of Defense (DoD) experience managing and supporting the performance of all applicable PWS tasks.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in any discipline.

Accredited Project Management certification is required, such as:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®)
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP®)
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Equivalent accredited project management certification

Required Skills
  • Experience supporting large-scale DoD programs and federal contracts.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-disciplinary teams in complex operational environments.
  • Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, contract administration, and project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across Government and contractor organizations.

Security Clearance

Must possess a current, final, and fully adjudicated Top Secret security clearance.
