ABOUT THE ROLEThe Project Manager, T&D is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, execution, and financial performance of assigned construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with organizational and client expectations. The Project Manager, T&D partners with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to drive project success while maintaining strong operational controls and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Essential Functions- Lead the planning and execution of construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget objectives
- Oversee project lifecycle activities including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution strategies
- Identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement proactive solutions to maintain project momentum and performance
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules that coordinate project phases, resources, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress, anticipate potential delays, and implement adjustments to maintain overall project timelines
- Maintain financial oversight of projects, including budget management, cost forecasting, and financial performance tracking
- Evaluate project expenditures, manage change orders, and ensure accurate cost reporting and billing processes
- Monitor job costs against budgets and identify opportunities to improve financial outcomes
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders
- Facilitate effective communication through regular project updates, status reports, and progress meetings
- Ensure client expectations are met through proactive coordination and issue resolution
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project management staff, supporting their development and project effectiveness
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure clear accountability and efficient project execution
- Ensure project documentation, reporting, and deliverables are maintained accurately and consistently
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Regular and predictable attendance

- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location

ABOUT YOUQualifications- 5+ years of project management experience in the electrical construction industry
- Prior transmission line and substation MV/HV experience required
- EHV experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

WHAT WE OFFERCompensation & Benefits- Salary $86,849-$146,775 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
