Project Manager - Transformation to join our
Transformation Management Office (TMO) and lead complex, high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization.
This is not a traditional project management role focused primarily on schedules, status reports, and task tracking. You will work on some of the organization's most important transformation priorities, partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to take initiatives from
strategy and concept through execution, adoption, and measurable results.
The right person is highly organized and analytical, but also knows how to influence, solve problems, navigate ambiguity, and keep teams moving. You will have meaningful ownership, exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work across a large, multi-site healthcare organization.
What You'll DoOwn Strategic Initiatives From Concept to ResultsTake ownership of assigned transformation initiatives from initial planning through implementation and stabilization. Your work does not end at launch. You will help ensure changes are adopted, performance is measured, and intended business outcomes are achieved and sustained.
Lead Complex, Cross-Functional ExecutionDrive initiatives involving operational, clinical, technology, and corporate teams. Coordinate workstreams, establish accountability, manage dependencies, anticipate risks, and keep teams focused on key milestones and outcomes.
Build the RoadmapTranslate strategic priorities into clear, actionable workplans. Define activities, milestones, dependencies, owners, sequencing, and resources so teams understand what needs to happen and when.
Use Data to Drive DecisionsCollect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate initiative performance, identify risks and opportunities, and help leaders make informed decisions. Establish meaningful measures of success and monitor whether initiatives are delivering the expected value.
Create Alignment and AccountabilityPartner closely with Initiative Owners, functional leaders, and team members across the organization. Facilitate productive discussions, resolve roadblocks, follow up with owners, and ensure commitments translate into action.
Communicate With Senior LeadershipDevelop clear, concise updates and presentations that communicate progress, performance, risks, decisions, and next steps. Support reporting and discussions with senior leadership and the Board as needed.
Bring a Strategic PerspectiveUnderstand how individual initiatives connect to broader organizational priorities. Bring forward insights from the work, identify emerging challenges, and help leaders determine where adjustments may be needed to achieve the desired outcome.
What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who can operate with a
high degree of autonomy and is comfortable taking ownership in an environment where not every answer is known at the outset.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of project or program management experience, preferably supporting strategic, enterprise, or transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through implementation
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, milestones, risks, and competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights, recommendations, and action
- Ability to build project plans, implementation roadmaps, and structured workplans from broad strategic objectives
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating with senior leaders
- Ability to influence and create accountability across teams without relying on direct authority
- Proven ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, solve problems, and drive work forward
- Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within a multi-site healthcare or behavioral health organization
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation, organizational change, or strategic initiatives
- Management consulting experience or experience working in a consulting-style internal role
- PMP or other relevant project/program management certification
