JobThe Project Manager is responsible for managing project timelines and budgets while creating and implementing solutions and construction methods based on design concepts and visual information. The Project Manager must possess the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and must be highly organized. This position requires hands on experience related to Scheduling, Written and Verbal Communication, and wood/metal Fabrication or general construction. The Project Manager must be willing to travel as required by project. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Manage build and strike dates, notify Operations of any date changes
- Periodically visit job sites to inspect and ensure that fieldwork progress is appropriate to job timelines and to compliance and quality (east coast)
- Assist Operations with inventory management and formal cycle counts of material onsite
- Maintain and update budget regularly to reflect current margin
- Inform senior management of significant changes in project plans and budget changes
- Participate in the generation of final build to capture design changes and to help better prepare for future projects
- Produce weekly reports for projects over $50K (CI requirements, progress reports, postmortem reports etc.)
- Implement truck requests for east coast projects
- Shadow at events to learn how to rotate labor, customer expectations, finishing techniques & overall spread out and have more leadership on larger tower build outs to keep costs down and GP% continuously going up annually
- Maintaining weekly tower safety with KPA flex and working closely with EHS representatives, your manager, and network tech managers
- Occasionally attend surveys with your manager to familiarize yourself with the sales aspect of towers (Maintain professional appearance and good presence for our customers)
- Manage and oversee Studio operation and inventory, logistics etc.
- Oversee all rentals needed for tower & Studio division
Requirements- Minimum 3 years of solid industry experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Illustrator, and MS Office
- High-level problem-solving skills
- Ability to make decisions when prioritizing the short- and long-term objectives for projects
- Must have outstanding relationship skills and have a team oriented, collaborative work ethic
- Ability to work nights and weekends
Education Qualifications- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Compensation: $85,000 k + based on experience. Full-time, salaried exempt.
