About the Role:
This role is a hands-on Project Manager position focused on guiding capital process equipment and system projects from concept through commissioning. You'll blend engineering fundamentals with practical project leadership-coordinating scope, schedule, and technical execution while working closely with cross-functional teams. The work spans design, vendor coordination, field installation, and customer support, offering a dynamic mix of technical depth and real?world impact.

Here's a glimpse into your day to day:
Project Management & Execution:

  • Support or lead project execution activities including scope, schedule, budget, and risk tracking
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for equipment procurement and fabrication
  • Track and report project status, milestones, and forecasts to internal leadership and clients
  • Assist in development and maintenance of project documentation and governance materials
  • Support installation, commissioning, and startup of process equipment at customer sites
  • Provide customer training and technical support during project closeout
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with mechanical design, controls/automation, and project teams on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and product development efforts


Process Engineering & Technical Execution:

  • Ability to perform engineering calculations including heat & mass balances, hydraulic calculations, and utility consumption
  • Size and specify process equipment such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filtration systems, piping, and related components
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, functional descriptions, technical manuals, and training materials
  • Support development of automation and controls functional specifications
  • Assist with conceptual process design, plant surveys, and system optimization
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues in both design and field environments

Strong understanding of:

  • Heat and mass transfer
  • Fluid flow and hydraulic systems
  • Process equipment design and operation


Experience with:

  • Equipment sizing and specification
  • Process documentation (PFDs, technical documentation, etc.)
  • Commissioning, startup, or field support activities
  • Exposure to project execution (coordination, scheduling, vendor interaction, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to internal teams and customers
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently
  • Capital project execution


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with evaporation, crystallization, or membrane filtration systems
  • Background in food & beverage, dairy, chemical processing, or industrial manufacturing
  • Familiarity with Aspen, ChemCAD, or CFD tools
  • Basic understanding of PLC-based automation and control systems
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay: $110,000-130,000 (depending on experience)
  • Eligible for overtime pay
  • Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable)
