BS or MS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering
7+ years of project management experience in automated material handling
Proficiency with MS Project software
PMP Certification is a plus
Experience in logistics applications preferred

Full Job Description
Project Manager leads, plans, and heads the tasks of multiple field crews to implement projects for automated material handling projects. He/she will manage divisional resources to meet and exceed contract requirements, project specifications, and client expectations. Projects are successfully implemented through skillful proposal/contract/specification review, contract drawing review, site surveys, system design, materials procurement and scheduling, installation drawing design and review, installation scheduling, labor coordination, cost management, change order processing, project completion and close out.
Represent the interests of Swisslog in dealing with the project client, the client's consultants and Swisslog's subcontractors.
Participate in the final offer review and on acceptance of the offer, produce, finalize head contract for the project and ensure the ten Swisslog minimum contract standards are taken into account in the head contract .
Supervise and coordinate the installation and assembly work of all equipment and products delivered as part of scope of supply for the customer and ensure successful claim management for time and money is implemented and maintained.
Produce, review and sign-off the instruction manuals for subsystems and overall plant and End User documentation for WMS.
Organize necessary test equipment and draw up, carry out and document customer acceptance procedures.
Coordinate, review and sign-off the functional acceptance tests, integration tests and finally, the throughput tests of the overall system and confirm with acceptance reports signed by the subcontractor, Swisslog and the Customer.
What you need to succeed
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Systems Engineering
Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience. Primary experience preferably within automated material handling and logistics applications.
