Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or possession of an equivalent combination of formal education and professional work experience related to this position.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of six years of recent experience commensurate with the job requirements:


  • Experience supervising personnel and providing program oversight.
  • Experience planning and coordinating the daily activities of assigned contractor personnel to support operational and mission requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish employee schedules, manage shifting priorities, and ensure appropriate task coverage.
  • Experience assisting with staffing continuity, including coordinating and providing replacement personnel when required.
  • Proven ability to provide oversight and management of contractor staff to ensure tasks are completed during periods of increased workload or operational surge.
  • Experience conducting meetings with the Contract PM, COR, and government personnel to review schedules, workloads, project activities, potential issues, and resolutions.
  • Ability to support and assist contractor staff in completing their duties during work overload situations to maintain mission performance.
  • Experience ensuring contractor personnel possess the tools, skills, and competencies required to perform assigned responsibilities independently.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring contractor compliance with established Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans, particularly within environments such as the NNCTC.

Responsibilities:

SANCORP is seeking a Project Manager to support Operational and Technical Support services for the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). The following are examples of responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Supervisor(s) for all Crime Gun Intelligence (CGI) contractor personnel working under the contract and provide program management, oversight and assistance.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of the assigned contractor employees.
  • Establish employee schedules and coordinating priorities.
  • Assist in providing replacement personnel.
  • Provide oversight and management of all assigned contractor staff to ensure their duties are accomplished in work overload situations.
  • Conduct meetings as needed with the Contract PM, the COR and the NNCTC government personnel to discuss project activities, schedules, workloads, potential problems and their resolution.
  • Assist all other assigned contractor staff to accomplish their duties in work overload situations.
  • Ensure that contractor staff have the tools and competencies necessary to accomplish their duties independently.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans that are in place for the NNCTC.
  • Work with the ATF to provide competent leadership and responsible project direction through successful performance of a variety of detailed, diverse elements of project management tasks.
  • Direct completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints, while coordinating with client counterparts when appropriate.
