Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in architectural practice, ideally with a focus on project management
• 2+ years of project management experience, leading architecture teams on renovation and new construction projects
• Bachelor's degree in architecture preferred, but not mandatory
• Advanced knowledge of architectural detailing, construction standards and contract administration processes
• Working knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD and their use in contract documents
• Effective leadership communication skills for collaborating with clients and development teams
• Understanding of agency review, entitlement and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in enhancing industry knowledge and architectural skills through mentorship and learning opportunities
• Issue and track Change of Service Agreements for work beyond the initial scope
• Conduct weekly time sheet reviews and monthly billing assessments with the Operations Director
• Facilitate project meetings with clear agendas and ensure accurate meeting minutes are maintained
• Ensure a continuous flow of critical project information among team members
• Collaborate with Project Architect and Technical Directors for quality review milestones
• Oversee submission and review processes of contract documents to agencies for permit approval
• Direct preparation and issuance of bid documents and manage related inquiries and addenda
• Supervise construction contract administration and participate in required construction meetings
• Cultivate and pursue new project opportunities with existing clients.
