Job Summary

A Senior IT Project Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects that are integral to our organization's strategic objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops comprehensive project plans, including defining objectives, scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Leads and motivates cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Allocates and manages project resources efficiently, including personnel, budgets, and materials, to optimize project outcomes.
  • Identifies and assesses project risks, develops mitigation strategies, and proactively manages issues to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitates effective communication among project stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned on project goals and progress.
  • Monitors project budgets and financials, making necessary adjustments to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Generates regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and accomplishments.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma (or GED).
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of IT Project Management or related experience.
  • Proven track record as an IT project manager with successful delivery of complex technology projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and IT tools such as Microsoft Project and DevOps.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with usage of both Microsoft Project and DevOps.
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or similar field.
  • PMP, ITIL, Agile, Scrum or other relevant certifications.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
