Position Location: This role supports our Morristown, NJ branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, northern New Jersey areas.
The
Project Manager facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs. This role requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity with financial impact between $100K and $2.5M.
As a Project Manager, you will: - Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps.
- Guide technical or administrative staff.
- Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs
- Contribute to continuous improvement plan.
- Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships.
- Be responsible for several small projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
- Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.
- Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
- Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
- Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
- Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
- Track resources and projects progress.
- Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
- Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
- Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.
- Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provides commissioning documentation.
- Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
- Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
- Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.
You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
- High School or completed GED
- Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Technical experience in the commercial security access/CCTV industry
- 1+ years of experience managing projects
- Knowledge of industry-standard security communication protocols
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- 5+ years of technical experience in the security access/CCTV industry
- SIA CSPM certification preferred

The pay range for this position is $82,610 - $141,617 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
