Project Manager, Bethlehem, PA / IT Strategy & Innovation

As a part of the IT Innovation & Strategy function you will have a key role in driving and coordinating projects for Scandinavian Tobacco Group, as part of our SAP S/4HANA global ERP implementation. As part of this process, you will work with the senior stakeholders and core Project Management Office (PMO) team members, leading execution as a Project Manager on certain projects. The range of projects focuses mostly on digital and functional topics (IT, commercial, operational, etc.).

You will contribute with professional sparring on project management, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, resource management, and cross-collaboration with project team members. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing timelines, work breakdown structures and staying within project scope and budget. Our team is based in Copenhagen, and you will be reporting directly to Head of IT Portfolio Management Office in North America.

What your day will look like

In this role, you will typically focus on:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedule, budget, and monitoring expenditures
  • Develop and maintain all required project management materials followed by guidelines
  • Manage scope, resources, timelines, costs/budget, quality, communication, and procurements to meet the goals of the project
  • Ensure that project plans and schedules are established and maintained, ensuring that deliverables are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Establish project governance, conduct formal presentations, coordinate with all project stakeholders, and ensure that appropriate project controls are instituted
  • Work with personnel within various teams that are responsible for the systems to develop necessary project management, change management, risk management, rollout, and training plans
  • Work with cross-functional business teams to develop stakeholder communication plans to train and/or reach program participants
  • Drive business analysis to support decision-making on various opportunities identified across the organization.

  • Analytical mindset and ability to work with Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office programs

Working at STG & What to expect

For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from $105,000 to $115,000/yr corresponding to the level of the position, expected experience and responsibilities.
