Position OverviewWe are looking for a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of satellite ground station infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from feasibility and site acquisition through engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, and operational handover while ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and aligned with customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities - Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and milestones
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, logistics, installation, and commissioning activities
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests
- Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and customer communications
- Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety, and contractual requirements
- Coordinate FAT, SAT, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities
- Maintain project documentation and lessons learned records
Technical Knowledge
- Ground station infrastructure
- Satellite communications (LEO/MEO/GEO)
- RF systems and antennas
- Previous experience building SATCOM systems is highly preferred
- Previous experience troubleshooting and/or repairing satellite systems is highly preferred
- Fibre connectivity
- Power, UPS, generators and HVAC
- Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet
- Project controls and scheduling
Qualifications - Degree in Engineering, Construction, Telecommunications or Project Management (or equivalent experience).
- 6 to 8 years of technical Project Management experience required
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or APM PMQ desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet
- Strong leadership skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
