ContextThe role centers on leading project operations end-to-end-aligning engineering, procurement, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure contract-compliant delivery and seamless client communication.
Missions/Main Duties- Lead production operations with the onsite representative and service providers, ensuring day-to-day execution.
- Ensure contract-compliant delivery by coordinating engineering and procurement requests and aligning deliverables.
- Monitor and control project progress and schedule, including materials deliveries and warranty issue resolution.
- Manage project budgeting and reporting to the executive team and prepare client-facing correspondence and reports.
- Maintain the risk register, track out-of-scope work, and prepare proposals for contract change orders.
Profile/SkillsEducation: Completion of a degree in applied science, engineering, or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
Years of experience: Minimum of five (5) years project or production management experience related to the manufacture, design, testing, inspection, and commissioning of passenger railcars or 10 years experience for other heavy-duty vehicles.
Technical competencies:- Experience in manufacturing or construction environment a must, preferably in rail or heavy vehicle industries
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, both in French and in English*
