Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, Indiana PE preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in roadway design and project management.
• Experience managing INDOT and/or local agency transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of INDOT design standards and AASHTO guidelines.
• Proficiency with design software such as MicroStation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads, and/or Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation infrastructure design projects focusing on roadways, highways, and bicycle/pedestrian facilities.
• Lead project design and monitor budget, schedule, and risk performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with INDOT and local municipalities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams for successful project delivery.
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with INDOT standards.
• Prepare and review project scopes, proposals, and contract amendments.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with Operations Leaders and Project Managers.
• Oversee project permitting and environmental compliance coordination.
