Description
Project Manager, Renewables EngineeringWestwood Professional Services, Inc.The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service renewable energy engineering projects for Westwood. They will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. The Project Manager will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service renewable energy engineering projects supporting utility-scale solar developments. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.
Responsibilities:- Full accountability on multiple renewable energy engineering projects:
- Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
- Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
- Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams including civil, electrical, and environmental disciplines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for EPC clients and developers.
- Ensure engineering deliverables align with EPC project schedules and construction milestones.

- General knowledge of construction with experience providing construction phase services
- Track record of successfully winning and delivering projects
- Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and overall duties involved in managing a design team
- Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work and qualification packages
- Experience developing and implementing marketing pursuit strategies
- Ability to develop relationships with peers, clients, and public agency staff.
- Ability to coach and motivate others
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field
- 5-7 years of experience in a project coordinator, engineering project management, or similar role
- Professional licensure in a technical field or ability to obtain PMP certification\
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Salary Description
$95,000-$125,000
