Job DescriptionPosition Summary
Reporting to the Director, Transformation Management Office (TMO), the Project Manager will lead high-impact strategic initiatives that drive business transformation, operational excellence, and technology advancement across the organization.
In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of projects from concept through implementation, partnering closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external stakeholders to deliver measurable business value. You will play a key role in translating strategy into action, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.
As a trusted partner and change agent, you will bring structure, leadership, and collaboration to complex initiatives while helping to advance project management best practices and support the successful execution of the company's strategic roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage strategic projects from initiation through completion, including transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, and technology-enabled programs.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in partnership with business and IT stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource requirements, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead project execution by ensuring effective coordination between internal teams and external partners.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and change requests to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure alignment with TMO governance frameworks, including prioritization processes, portfolio management, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and present clear, concise project status updates to leadership teams and governance committees
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of TMO project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to foster engagement, alignment, and project success.
QualificationsQualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, including organizational transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of benefits realization tracking and business case development.
- Solid understanding of business operations and the relationship between technology and operational functions.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a matrix environment with competing priorities.
- Proficiency with project and portfolio management tools such as Amplify, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French to communicate across Canada.
