About the JobExperienced Project Manager needed to support increased project proposal workload for a growing organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for job completions within the project budget and deadlines set by the customers.
- Review projects and priorities daily.
- Provide exceptional customer service with very clear communication.
- Scope of work evaluation and execution.
- Verify material between sales rendering, estimate and purchase order.
- Make adjustments as needed to purchase orders.
- Prioritize and prepare purchase orders for weekly approval.
- Ensure that ship dates are gathered to be scheduled for installation.
- Work with vendors regarding any issues with the materials .
- Provide the required information to the receptionist, to make travel arrangements as needed for the installation crews.
- Schedule Equipment Rental and/or Sub-Contractors.
- Forecast the installation of projects, based on the projected ship dates for materials provided by vendors.
- Progress invoice projects one weeks prior to install.
- Report anticipated upcoming closures and funds.
- Enter schedule for installations in the calendar and create work order and Google Directions.
- Communicate directly with the Installation Crews to learn the job progression status.
- Communicate daily schedule with Installation and Manufacture departments.
- Responsible for monitoring, reporting and resolving any go-back issues.
- Verify projected labor hours between the estimate and Operation Project Manager's projections.
- Manage the completion of a project inclusive of the final inspection for billing on projects.
- Send out closure emails to client and internal staff to formally state completion of job, ready to invoice and ready to cost.
- Participate and review in job costing meetings.
Ability To:- Direct others through project completion.
- Work independently with little direction.
- Adapt to change easily and quickly respond to changing assignments, work settings and priorities.
- Develop, organize and complete tasks and projects using computer software programs such as word and excel.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, log, record, itemize, collate, tabulate data.
- Provide detailed follow-through of policies and plans.
- Coach those who do not adhere to safety practices in all departments.
- Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assess current practices and present improved systems to upper management.
