Job Title: Project Manager - Project Lead (9648)
Location: Blythewood, SC 29016
Work Type: Hybrid (75% Onsite / 25% Remote)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week (Monday - Friday)

Position Overview
The Client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Project Lead to support agency-wide information technology initiatives. This is a new position created due to increased IT project demand exceeding internal capacity.
The Project Manager will report to the Director of IT Operations and work closely with the agency PMO, internal IT teams, state and county agencies, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of IT projects from initiation through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary IT Project Manager for assigned projects
• Manage IT deliverables for both IT-driven and business-led projects
• Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders, PMO staff, and external partners
• Define and document project scope, charter, schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables
• Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation activities
• Establish and maintain project meeting cadence and stakeholder communications
• Track project progress, issues, and dependencies; escalate risks as needed
• Prepare project status reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
• Maintain an accurate master IT project list
• Ensure proper project closeout, including lessons learned and documentation
• Assist in developing and standardizing IT project management methodologies aligned with agency PMO standards

Required Skills
• Active PMP Certification
• 5+ years of overall Project Management experience
• 3+ years managing Enterprise-level IT projects
• 1+ year of experience working with ServiceNow
• 3+ years of experience with project budgeting and financial tracking

Preferred Skills
• Experience managing system modernization initiatives
• Experience working with State or Government agencies
• Experience collaborating with external vendors and business partners

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
