Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to oversee the daily operations, staffing, compliance, and performance of a high-profile large-scale security services contract.

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 7 years of experience in law enforcement, security, or a combination of both.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager or Alternate Project Manager on a contract supporting at least 50 security or guard personnel.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Must possess a current District of Columbia Special Police Officer (SPO) license.
• Must possess a current 9mm semiautomatic pistol qualification card.
• Must maintain current OC/Pepper Spray certification.
• Must possess current CPR/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross or equivalent.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to effectively manage a large security workforce and maintain professional relationships with government representatives.
• A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security Management, or a related field is highly desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage the overall day-to-day on-site security operation.
• Ensure all security posts are properly staffed, supervised, and operational.
• Lead and manage security personnel and supervisory staff.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, attendance, and personnel performance.
• Coordinate onboarding, site orientation, training, and refresher training.
• Ensure personnel maintain all required licenses, credentials, badges, and certifications.
• Conduct and oversee regular audits of employee credentials and certifications.
• Manage security equipment, vehicles, uniforms, duty equipment, and other operational resources.
• Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the company's Quality Control Plan.
• Identify operational deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit required daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Communicate with the COR daily regarding staffing, security, safety, and operational issues.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with the COR, government personnel, clients, subcontractors, and company leadership.
• Review and address employee performance and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy and contract requirements.
• Ensure all personnel comply with applicable government badging and access requirements.
• Review and implement applicable security post orders and operating procedures.
• Conduct regular meetings with supervisory personnel to review performance and operational procedures.
• Mentor and develop supervisors and contract leadership.
• Support special events, unusual circumstances, and emergency operational requirements.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions with government and client representatives.

Schedule and Availability

The Project Manager will be required to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, unless an alternate schedule is approved.

The Project Manager must:
• Be available by telephone or in person within 30 minutes during normal working hours when operational issues arise.
• Be available to return on-site within 2 hours after normal working hours, on weekends, or holidays when required.
• Adjust their schedule as necessary to support special events or unusual operational requirements

This job reports to the Operations Manager

This is a Full-Time position
