POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities of assigned projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budgetary constraints.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team by training, developing and coaching employees on a consistent basis
  • Review project proposal and/or project execution plan to determine budget constraints, documentation requirements, staffing requirements and/or allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
  • Establish and maintain the work plan/project schedule
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure that the project schedule and budget are maintained
  • Visit project work sites occasionally
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
  • Prepare scheduled status/job cost reports for management, clients or others
  • Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
  • Demonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, included but not limited to Safety, and Company values
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • BS/BA degree in Engineering, Management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years project management experience in the Oil and Fabrication Industry
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred
  • Intermediate level written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic level mathematical skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Experience operating standard office equipment
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
  • For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
