Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive construction experience, leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in fostering a strong safety culture with health, safety, and environment principles.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, specifications, laws, and safety management practices.
• Strong skills in planning, organization, and time management, particularly with budgets and schedules.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software, open to learning new technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall contract administration and technical support for the project.
• Develop and implement the project safety plan and model health and safety practices.
• Ensure project construction aligns with design, budget, quality, and schedules.
• Understand client needs and propose value engineering solutions to optimize functionality and cost.
• Manage project performance and deliver status reports on safety and cost forecasts.
• Negotiate and issue contracts and monitor progress and compliance.
• Enforce contract documents and participate in project commissioning and closeout.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities within construction projects.
• Monitor design progress for compliance, quality, and timing of deliverables when applicable.
