Job Description:

PROJECT MANAGER

OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a qualified Project Manager (PM) to manage the full lifecycle of complex technical security systems installed in government facilities worldwide. The PM is responsible for following consistent and repeatable project management processes while maintaining an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project results. This role requires an understanding of basic construction and electrical design principles, risk assessment, and budget and schedule tracking and analysis. PMP certification is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Full-time (40 hours per week) when assigned to a domestic location.
Full-time (60 hours per week) when deployed overseas.

CITIZENSHIP:
U.S. citizenship is required.

PASSPORT:
Must be able to obtain and travel on a U.S. passport.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

TRAVEL:
Position requires approximately 30% travel to various overseas locations. Domestic travel may also be required for training and coordination.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR OVERSEAS WORK:
May include walking, climbing, crawling through confined spaces, and standing or sitting for extended periods. Subject to country-specific medical clearance requirements. Must adhere to approved vaccination protocols based on location.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Education:
    A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Technology Management, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field is required. In lieu of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of technical project management experience in construction, electronic security systems, alarm systems, or related fields.
    • Proven experience developing project management plans, communication plans, budgets, and schedules, as well as identifying and managing risk.
    • Demonstrated success in planning, developing, and implementing projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Minimum of 5 years of personnel management experience, including leading diverse, cross-functional teams delivering high-quality technical solutions on time and within budget.
    • Strong ability to communicate technical and program-related information effectively to multiple stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic, and at times politically sensitive, environments while maintaining customer expectations.

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • PMP or other relevant professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of construction project management, U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAH) requirements, and industry standards such as PMI.
  • Strong professional presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to resolve issues effectively with stakeholders.


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance prior to the start date.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
