A Snapshot of Your Day

As Project Manager - Operations, Logistics & Central Functions, you will lead cross-functional and cross-campus initiatives, bringing strong logistics and warehousing expertise to end-to-end project delivery and ongoing operational improvement programs. You are accountable for schedule, cost, risk, and service continuity. You will apply core project management disciplines, including charter, scope, governance, communications, change control, and benefits realization, while partnering with internal teams and external providers to drive safe, compliant, and high-performing operations from design through steady-state.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Project Initiation & Chartering: Define objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, and success measures.
  • Integrated Planning: Build workplans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and budgets/forecasts.
  • Governance & Execution Management: Run cadence, maintain RAID logs, track actions, and drive decisions to closure.
  • Risk, Issue, and Change Control: Proactively identify risks, implement mitigations, and manage scope/cost/schedule changes.
  • Stakeholder & Communications Management: Map stakeholders, develop communication plans, and align cross-functional teams.
  • Quality & Readiness: Define acceptance criteria, coordinate testing/UAT, and ensure operational readiness for go-live.
  • Vendor/Procurement Coordination: Manage deliverables, milestones, invoices, and performance to contract/SLA expectations.
  • Closeout & Benefits Realization: Complete handoffs, capture lessons learned, and confirm expected outcomes are measured.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of project/program management experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain, including leading complex operational change.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, inventory control) and 3PL relationship management; able to translate operational needs into executable project plans.
  • Experience executing projects within a heavy manufacturing environment (e.g., disposition and movement of goods, coordinating schedules such as construction items with Maintenance teams, executing tasks through external resources, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Continuous Improvement methods (e.g., Kaizen, VSM) and warehouse productivity measurement is preferred.
  • Proficiency with core project management practices: chartering, WBS/scheduling, RAID, change control, stakeholder management, and structured status reporting.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferred; formal change management training/certification (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with common PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and collaboration/reporting tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience with PMO standards and portfolio reporting; ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and resource constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute cutovers and manage risk without disrupting customer service; experience running parallel operations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills; ability to influence across internal teams and external partners and drive decisions through ambiguity.
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
