Job Description

This role will be responsible for managing internal projects and providing strategic initiative program management support. Responsible for coordinating and managing key Operations projects from concept through development. This role will heavily interface with various teams across the organization to ensure successful execution of projects to improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations and enhance customer service.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage people and resources as part of a cross-functional team required to complete projects and initiatives.
    Interact with cross-functional teams including: research and development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, finance, quality and regulatory departments.
  • Set priorities, develop a work schedule, and monitor progress towards project goals. Track details/data/information/activities to ensure these maintain alignment with long term business objectives.
  • Present program and strategic plans and lead progress updates (phase gate review) with senior management and other affected staff at regular check points to ensure awareness and buy in to progress against contracted targets by stakeholders.
  • As needed, identify cause, manage and resolve or escalate risks / problem situations by generating possible solutions, facilitating tradeoff decisions, making recommendations on resolution, ensuring compliance to delegated actions and removing obstacles to achieve contracted goal.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience
  • 8 or more years of experience in operations and project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering with emphasis on Project Management experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven proficiency of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills working collaboratively across all levels of the organization; strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive positive results in a highly dynamic, fast-growing organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others through influencing.
  • Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Experience with managing multiple projects across functions: experience working with third party companies.
  • Strong Microsoft Project skills and related (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project and SharePoint).
    Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to a Director or Executive level position.
