Full Job Description
SLB is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Project Manager / Engineer to join our team in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will lead the execution of customer projects involving ultrasonic flow meter systems, managing all phases from project initiation through commissioning. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, project management, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving project execution, resolving technical challenges, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the successful delivery of innovative flow measurement solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage customer projects from initiation through commissioning, ensuring successful execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, manage resources, and ensure projects remain on time and within budget.
  • Review customer specifications, engineering requirements, and applicable industry standards to ensure compliance.
  • Lead project risk management, change management, and issue resolution activities.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, operations, quality, finance, sales, and service teams.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, calculations, reports, procedures, and project deliverables.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), calibration activities, inspections, and customer training.
  • Analyze system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and support field service activities as required.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, status updates, and project reviews.
  • Support sales and business development efforts through technical reviews, project scoping, and contract evaluations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution, quality, and operational efficiency.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering, project management, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with budget planning, cost tracking, and project reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, instrumentation, flow measurement systems, fluid mechanics, electronics, or embedded software is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis as required.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
