Job Description Summary:

For our Patient Engagement product Project Managers, this role will be responsible for the entire project life cycle of the Patient Engagement implementations, focusing on mid-sized projects with moderate complexity. This includes leveraging Project Management knowledge to effectively lead the implementation while also consulting with the customer on best practices to mitigate risk and achieve success. This role requires a high degree of strategic thinking along with collaboration with our Sales, Training Services, Technology Services, Business Consulting, and Customer Success organizations.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for independently managing the successful delivery and implementation of ModMed's solutions, including both internal and external deliverables, internal and external customer stakeholder management, and achievement of ModMed's KPIs for billable utilization, time-to-revenue, CSAT, and adoption (25%).
  • Receive deals from sales, review all knowledge transfer documentation, and order forms to ensure proper project initiation. Based on this, draft a project kick-off and timeline, initiating technical projects and securing tactical resources (training/BC) to lead to a successful implementation. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project timelines, and status reports, using these to conduct regular project calls and/or executive steering committees as necessary. Document, update, and maintain all work and time entries in CRM, Project Management tools, or other tools as appropriate from the point of sales hand off till project close. Lastly, independently manage the successful delivery and implementation of backend setup and configurations for applicable features (25%).
  • Field and manage change requests to balance project risk, delivery KPIs, adoption success, and customer satisfaction. Facilitate necessary change orders, credits, order forms, or addendums via Salesforce/CPQ or Operations teams (10%).
  • Escalate at-risk projects to management and leadership levels as appropriate. Provide executive summaries, recommendations on resolution, or specific requests for support (10%).
  • Collaborate with all internal and external parties to ensure alignment on delivery and mitigation of risk. Internally, this includes but is not limited to other Project Management teams, Trainers, Technical Consultants, Business Consultants, Sales Managers, Product, or Customer Success Managers. Oversee any necessary iteration of the mutual project plans to ensure success (10%).
  • At times, travel for Project Kick-Off, Project Status, Go-Live, or Project Close at the client's location; availability for up to 25% travel required (10%).
  • Maintain updated knowledge and experience for ModMed's products, healthcare service implementations, Project Management methodologies. This may include early access and contribution towards development of new methodologies, tools, or product offerings ModMed is looking to provide (10%).


Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other relevant degree preferred.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant project management and/or management experience, plus at least 2 years of relevant business experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience with clinical environments either through previous clinical training or through clinical implementations (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce, Cloud Coach, or similar products. Payments experience preferred.
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
  • A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation, and detail-oriented perspective.

  • Ability to travel occasionally as warranted by project work; frequency will vary depending on project requirements.

  • Strong ability to collaborate with individual contributors to define business process issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results.
