Meet the Team
The Operations & Middle Office Projects team partners across Operations & Middle Office and Technology to deliver strategic initiatives that strengthen operational workflows, controls, and scalability. The team supports projects across a range of products and processes, including Private Credit, Loans, and CLOs, while coordinating stakeholders across the firm.
What You'll Do
• Lead the project pipeline between Operations & Middle Office and Technology, overseeing initiatives from initiation through implementation.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise projects supporting Private Credit, Loans, CLOs, and related operational workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed work plans, project documentation, and other artifacts needed to support effective execution.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies early, and recommend practical solutions to maintain delivery momentum.
• Provide regular project and program reporting on status, key deliverables, milestones, risks, and mitigating actions.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocations to support timely, effective delivery.
• Create clear, effective presentations for senior management that synthesize raw data into actionable information, and support ad hoc requests as needed.
What You Bring
• 4-8 years of project management experience within a financial services or consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of trading workflows, operations, technology, and financial products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively across stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and personal ownership of deliverables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience using project management tools and applying standard project management methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a structured manner in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• A consistent record of achieving targets, building effective relationships, and motivating cross-functional teams through complex initiatives.
Salary Range
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
