Overview

LMI is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to act as a critical interface to our United States Space Force (USSF) Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) customer and to be responsible for customer-owned project management efforts to include strategic planning and execution, stakeholder coordination, performance monitoring and reporting, risk and issue management, and continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) through routine collection of data to present updates to Schedule metrics to SES/SL and GO/FO-level leadership.
  • Mentor, educate, and develop processes that drive the composition, validation, and management of an OKR structure for the customer.
  • Describe/communicate Technical and Systems Engineering tasks to facilitate common understanding of all stakeholder and team inputs.
  • Interpret and enforce customer-specific processes, standards, and requirements.
  • Author and maintain program documentation: statements of work, technical data packages, status reports, and lessons-learned records.
  • Ensure LMI Space Market leadership is aware of customer requirements and personnel needs and assist in team coordination.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum of 5-years of experience in operations, general management, or project management.
  • Experience leading complex administrative efforts across technical tasks.
  • Adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments and cultural differences.
  • Direct experience working on-site at a government or customer facility, willing and able to work full-time on-site in a secure customer location.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and teamwork abilities, to include briefing SES/SL and GO/FO-level leadership.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and soft skills.
  • Proficient in business software and productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant field of study.
  • Space domain experience.
  • Experience with USSF-related missions, technologies, and business practices.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI or an active TS with SCI eligibility.
  • Candidate must be SAP eligible.

 

Target salary range: $92,000 - $158,000
